Introduction to Beekeeping. In addition to honey bees being incredibly fascinating, there are many reasons to become a beekeeper. Beekeeping can become an interesting and rewarding hobby, and for some people it can become a business. In this short course, attendees will learn all about managed honey bees and what they need for year-round success – equipment, food, shelter, and more. Plenty of take-home resources will be available.
