Event Details

Join UpLift Iowa, CultureAll, and the Des Moines Public Library for a program and discussion about issues relating to poverty in our community.  Hear the personal stories of people from around Des Moines dealing with housing, unemployment, childcare and food insecurity issues, and then come together as a group and talk about actions we might take to help with these issues.

Central Parking

Free library parking is available in Central's underground parking garage for two hours per visit. Parking around the library is metered at various costs from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
