All DMPL locations are currently serving as Polk County Warming Centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to warming centers while the extreme temperature plan is in effect. More information about warming centers can be found on the Polk County website.

Program Description

Event Details

The Des Moines Historical Society and DMPL North Side are offering walking tours of this historic neighborhood. Tours begin in the Meeting Room. Ken Boatwright will be your tour guide. A presentation will take place in the Meeting Room in the case of inclement weather. 

Space is limited. Register for your choice of 11 AM or 1 PM.
