Adventure Pass temporarily shut down in 2025

Due to software issues affecting all libraries using the service, the Iowa Adventure Pass program will temporarily shut down in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can still make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. The service will return at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Family Storytime in the Park

Program Description

Event Details

The whole family can come to Frisbie Park at 6:00 PM for this special outdoor Family Storytime.  Bring your own blanket or chairs and join Miss Donna as she reads stories and sings songs in the great outdoors.

In case of rain, this event will be cancelled.

Central Iowa Shelter & Services will serve a free meal at this location before the program.  The meal is free and available to anyone.

Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver over 12 years old.
