All locations of the Des Moines Public Library will close at 5pm on Wednesday, December 24. All locations will remain closed on Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26. Regular hours will resume on Saturday, December 27.

Dog Man, the musical, is coming to Des Moines! We will celebrate Dog Man author Dav Pilkey with a reading of his book Dog Breath, followed by a craft and activities in the children's area. Enter to win tickets to the show donated by the Des Moines Civic Center. Must be present to win. All Ages. Join us for fun and a chance to win—don't miss out!
