Warming Centers

All DMPL locations are serving as warming centers during open hours through February 2. DART will provide free rides to designated warming center locations while the Extreme Temperature Plan is in effect.

Día is an international celebration of the joy found in early childhood and reading. This year, the Des Moines Public Library and its community partners are celebrating together!

Join us at Union Park for FREE activities for the whole family: books, piñatas, carousel rides, folkloric dance groups, and so much MORE!
