Adventure Pass temporarily shut down in 2025

Due to software issues affecting all libraries using the service, the Iowa Adventure Pass program will temporarily shut down in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can still make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. The service will return at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

At its core, The Democracy Wall Project provides an outlet for students and community members to interact and engage in civil discourse on topics that can be difficult to talk about.  In doing so, participants can express their ideas and opinions in a valued and respectful environment demonstrating the transformative nature libraries have within their communities.  (General Information - Democracy Wall Project - SMCC Library at South Mountain Community College (southmountaincc.edu)

Each month we will post a question and we hope you will share your thoughts with us. There will be a few ground rules (posted near the board in the west foyer), only to make sure that the dialogue always remains kind and respectful.  We look forward to your participation!
