All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Join South Side Library and AmeriCorps Seniors for an evening of fun and laughter while creating gorgeous faux stained art pieces!  

 

If you're 55+, AmeriCorps Seniors has paid, tax free volunteer opportunities that provide ongoing training, mileage reimbursement, and recognition events. Perfect for those looking for ways to get involved in their community while receiving a bit of additional income.
