Event Details

Have you wanted to try spinning fiber into yarn but didn’t know where to start? In this introductory workshop, we will   provide the spindle, fiber and expertise. Come learn about the ancient art of hand spinning and make your own yarn. The Des Moines Weavers and Spinners Guild will teach the basic technique of using a drop spindle and provide resources for purchasing your own spindle and fiber. Come spin with us!


Limited to 20 participants. The Guild will provide spindles and fiber for participants to use in the workshop.
