All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Event Details

The Chalk the Walk art activity has been moved to the inside of the South Side Library due to the heat advisory.

Chalk the Walk at the South Side Library!  Bring the family and help us decorate the sidewalks around the library! We'll use sidewalk chalk to create fun art that everyone can enjoy as they walk the sidewalk of the library! All Ages Welcome! In case of rain, program will be cancelled.
