Franklin Avenue Library Opening at 10am Today

The Franklin Avenue Library will open at 10am today (Friday, February 20) to allow for more time for snow removal. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

DMPL Locations Are Warming Centers

All DMPL locations are currently serving as Polk County Warming Centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to warming centers while the extreme temperature plan is in effect. More information about warming centers can be found on the Polk County website.

Did you know that there are many different food holidays during March like National Peanut Butter Day and National Pie Day?  Come to the library to find out which foods we celebrate in March by finding their pictures in our scavenger hunt.  Find all of the pictures hidden in the Children's Area and come to the desk for a prize.
