Program Description

Event Details

Tweens (ages 9-12) can join us at Forest for a monthly book club and pizza party. Each session features a new book to keep, plus fun activities, book discussions, new friends, and PIZZA!

Registration is required, and books must be picked up from Forest Library before the event. This month we’ll be reading the novel Monarchs of Winghaven by Naila Moreira. We will also be joined by an educator from Des Moines Parks and Recreation for monarch tagging!

Please note: due to our special activity and guest, this month we will be starting at 6pm.

Accompanying Adults

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Children’s Program

Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver over 12 years old.
