Program Description

Event Details

Stab binding, which has a traditional history in Japan, China, and Korea, can be quite simple or involve complex variations. It can be a convenient way of binding loose pages and can probably be adapted to materials you have at home, so it's a great binding method to know. In this program, each person will design and bind their own book using stab binding.

This program involves awls, needles, and craft knives. Teens and adults only, please! If sharp tools are inaccessible for you but you'd like to attend, contact Nikki at nmrhodes@dmpl.org, who will be able to propose some accommodations.

Space is limited by supplies.
