Adventure Pass temporarily shut down in 2025

Due to software issues affecting all libraries using the service, the Iowa Adventure Pass program will temporarily shut down in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can still make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. The service will return at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Enjoy a virtual storytime English and Spanish, in celebration of Black History Month!

And, stop by Curbside at any of our six branches to pick up February's Library Learning Bag!

This month's bag includes a Black History Month Challenge for all ages, coloring pages, and reading booklists. Also included is a Doc McStuffins Community Wellness kit. The kit comes with your own stuffed animal "patient" to care for, using materials provided by Des Moines University, Every Step, and Iowa Total Care! Suggested ages are 5-12. While Supplies last. Intended to be used with adult supervision.

La Bibliobolsa Educativa de este mes incluye un reto del Mes de Historia Negra para todas edades, hojas para colorear, y listas de libros para leer. También se incluye un kit (juego) de Bienestar Comunitario de la Doctora Juguetes. El juego viene con tu propio "paciente" de peluche para curar, usando materiales donados por Des Moines University, Every Step, y Iowa Total Care! Se sugieren para edades 5-12.
