Event Details

Join Polk County Conservation for a bird-watching adventure like no other! In this fun and interactive session, you’ll get up close to bird mounts and learn about both common and rare birds found right here in Iowa. From colorful songbirds to majestic raptors, discover the fascinating world of our feathered friends and their unique characteristics! Perfect for curious minds in grades K-8.

Local author & illustrator Anna Zimney will be joining us share her new book Judy's Birdhouse, a story about a curious girl, and the flock of birds who bloom from her flowerpot and move into her house.
