AViD Presents: Patrick Bringley at the Des Moines Arts Festival

Patrick Bringley is the New York Times bestselling author of All the Beauty in the World, a memoir about his decade working as a guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Named a best book of the year by outlets including the New York Public Library and the Financial Times, it has been translated worldwide and became a national bestseller in South Korea.

Bringley adapted the book into an Off-Broadway solo play, which he stars in at DR2 Theatre, directed by Dominic Dromgoole. He has appeared in major media outlets and lectured at cultural institutions around the world.

This program will be moderated by Dr. Kelly Baum, Director, Des Moines Art Center. This event is occurring in partnership with the Des Moines Arts Festival and Des Moines Art Center.
