All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Event Details

Join artist Pascal Lafontant as he celebrates his solo exhibit Foreign Black Bodies. The reception will be held behind the second floor art gallery at the Central Library on Saturday November 4th from 2 - 4pm. Light snacks and refreshments will be available. This collection of oil paintings will be on display from October 29th - December 1st.
