All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Program Description

Event Details

Drop by our children's area to learn about quilling and make some art! Quilling is art made by curling small strips of paper and arranging them to make a picture. We can't wait to see what you can make!

Supplies and instructions will be provided, but this is an unstaffed activity. Parents may need to assist children with the projects.
