Early ACCESS is for families with young children, birth to age 3. Early ACCESS works with families to identify child and family needs, determine if the child is eligible for early intervention services, and discover what works best for each child.

Easterseals Iowa provides a wide range of services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.

Owned and operated by Valley Church and offering a number of activities, including fitness classes, community events, and serving opportunities.

Youth Shelter/Youth Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services:

Welcomes kids of all ages and backgrounds, giving them a safe, supportive environment for as long as their need requires, offers diverse counseling and therapeutic services to treat behavioral, emotional or substance use problems.

Young adults working toward self-sufficiency and who are unable to return to a home setting can participate in Ellipsis’ Transitional and Independent Living programs.

Provides immigrant and refugee parents peer-to-peer child development and parenting education through community-based support services to increase family problem-solving skills and knowledge of Western parenting norms. The program also provides access to preschool and kindergarten classes.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM

Counseling services to individuals (youth and adult) and families. Also offers substance use disorder assessments and referrals for both adults and juveniles.

Employee Assistance Program: Crisis response professionals are ready to provide assistance when your organization is in crisis due to downsizing, robberies, accidents, death and other critical incidents.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8 AM- 5 PM, Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM

Epworth United Methodist Church has a trained ministry team that provides ongoing support for as long as necessary to individuals when they are released from prison.

Services including job search assistance, job interview preparation, career resume preparation assistance, job preparation, and Adult Based Education classes.

Men on the Move Clothing Closet (Tuesday-Friday 11 AM-2PM by appointment only): Men's career-clothing closet, tailored toward men within the community selected for job interviews, in recovery, re-entry, or those that have clothing ​needs, will have an opportunity to enjoy a personal shopping experience. Schedule appointments online.

Matches volunteer reading mentors one-to-one with a student for about an hour each week and together they read and engage in conversation. Programs may take place during breakfast, lunch, after-school, or evening dinner sessions primarily at elementary schools or through community organizations.
