Offers a safe, confidential support group open to anyone (older teens and adults) surviving the loss of a loved one through suicide. Hosted by Polk County Crisis and Advocacy Services.

Provides methadone and suboxone treatment

Programs and services include job readiness, GED tutorials, computer classes, financial assistance, food pantry, meal programs, and crime victims assistance.

Food Pantry: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Meal Times: Monday-Thursday 1:30PM-7:30PM

Helps victims with certain out-of-pocket expenses related to injuries from violent crime. It is funded entirely by fines and penalties paid by offenders (not by taxpayers).

Financial Assistance: Can assist with rent, deposit, utility bills, laundromat vouchers, gift cards for emergency hygiene or food items for households with children, and storage costs for households in transition from homelessness

Faith-based sober living houses focused on being good fathers. Parenting classes offered.

Provides individuals and families up to three days worth of food for free sponsored by DMARC.

Hours: Thursdays 4 PM-6PM

DART Paratransit: Provides service for senior citizens and persons with disabilities living in Polk County who are functionally unable to independently use the regular DART bus service. 

Reduced Fare Programs: Provides reduced fare rates for the elderly (65+), persons with disabilities, Medicare card holders, veterans with a Service Connected ID, students in middle and high school, and refugees.

Hours: Monday-Saturday 7 AM - 5 PM

Free groceries: Tuesday and Fridays at 3 PM. Canned goods and hygiene products available upon request during open hours.

Counseling that provides understanding, hope and healing for grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, relationship problems, parent-child issues, and spiritual matters. Compassionate counselors take a mind, body and spirit approach to helping individuals of all ages to live more fully. Provides counseling through insurance and/or on a sliding scale or ability-to-pay basis. Office hours 8-5 Monday-Friday, evening hours available.
