A webpage listing resources dedicated to giving marginalized groups all the support necessary to be successful in substance use disorder treatment and sustained sobriety, including Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC); the LGBTQIA2S+ community; unhoused individuals and families; inmates and formerly incarcerated individuals; children and adolescents; and military veterans.

Provides free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention, and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

Assistance with federal tax filings, including pickup for tax forms. Tax forms can also be downloaded at irs.gov

Offers free gatherings each month and summer camps for students ages 8 – 18 to learn to code, build a website, create an app or a game, program a robot, or simply explore technology in a less-structured, creative, and social environment.

Provides transitional housing with supportive services in a structured environment exclusive to women. Services include intensive case management, substance abuse assessment, in-house AA meetings, and a sober living environment.

Provides food and family essentials, including diapers.

The Connection Cafe is a free lunch program for homeless and low income individuals and families in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. We serve lunch at noon, every Monday-Friday.
