All locations of the Des Moines Public Library will be closed Monday, December 6 for a staff training day. The library will reopen on Tuesday, December 7.

This story time we are featuring the Spark Foundation’s Book of the Month for first graders “Zonia’s Rainforest” by Juana Martinez-Neal. What would it be like to live in a rain forest with Zonia? Find out as we read the book and learn about the tropical plants you might find in a rainforest with our friends at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. We hope you enjoy sharing this special reading time with us! Ages 3+.
