Event Details

Melissa Gradischnig is the Director of Marketing & Community Relations at Central Iowa Shelter & Services—the largest homeless shelter in the state of Iowa.  She also founded and coordinates Voices to Be Heard, a statewide support group for families, friends, and children that have loved ones who are incarcerated.

We'll hear about the "spark" that shaped Gradischnig's community engagement.  In addition, we’ll hear details about the work she is doing and what keeps her motivated to stay involved.  Part of a monthly series which features committed volunteers, founders of organizations, business leaders, philanthropists, city employees, elected representatives, and more.
