Children’s Program
Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver over 12 years old.
All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.
Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Music is a universal language, and everyone is invited to jam with Jordan at ASAP. We’ll use a variety of instruments to keep beats, strengthen our listening skills, create our own melodies, and have fun expressing ourselves through sound.

Get crafty and create your own adorable Pop-Tart plushie! Teens will use fabric, felt, and other materials to design and sew their own soft, squishy Pop Tart-inspired creations.
This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.
