We're celebrating National DNA Day just a few months late! Our presenter, Paul Bush, will cover aspects of DNA related to the DCI Crime Laboratory located in Ankeny, IA. He has almost 40 years of experience with DNA. He has worked at DCI for 38 years and has been a member of the Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists for 36 years. Mr. Bush will be covering some of the highlights of his time covering an array of topics.
Topics covered will include: different types of DNA technology and testing over the years, CODIS and the DNA CODIS database in Iowa, Rapid DNA, and Genetic Genealogy.
