Program Description

Event Details

Learn how to use the Glowforge to make stamps for leather and make your own debossed leather keychain! This program will cover both the Glowforge tutorial and a hands-on how-to for how to make leather stamps. A library card number and email address are required for this program.

For this program, please bring a black and white design, either hand drawn using black ink on a white background or saved as a JPG, PNG, or PDF. We will use this design to make your stamp. Consider making an appointment to use the Adobe Creation Station to make your design! Since your stamp will be no larger than 1”x1”, please try to avoid fine lines, as these do not work well with the materials we are using; lines that are at least medium thickness work best, as do solid shapes. Questions? Email kmnubel@dmpl.org.

Please also create a Glowforge account using the email address you signed up with prior to the program. The first 30 minutes of this program will be a Glowforge tutorial, so if you have already completed the Glowforge tutorial, please feel free to come half an hour into the program instead of at the beginning.
