Researching Family History

May 11
Saturday 2:00 pm
Tracing your family’s heritage is fun for a variety of reasons. Most people begin because they’re just curious for curiosity’s sake. Others enjoy a challenging and intricate puzzle to solve. Theresa Liewer, with the Iowa Genealogy Society, will set you in the right direction as you begin your genealogical journey. Learn about the resources available at the library, records and directories that will help you delve into your family’s past, other places to do research in the area, and more. This is a great way to get started in genealogy.
